After recently joining the UFC following a swift victory at the DWCS, the Cameroonian Ateba Gautier will likely return to the cage on March 29, 2025, against the Bolivian José Medina for UFC Mexico.

Ateba Gautier entered the UFC after a magnificent performance in a DWCS, securing a victory by TKO. The Cameroonian, nicknamed the Silent Assassin, is renowned for his punch and incredible power. It took him only two rounds to defeat the Japanese fighter Yura Naito.

As mentioned during his speech in front of him, UFC President Dana White explained that Ateba Gautier needs to improve his defense against wrestling, making him nearly unbeatable if he can keep opponents from taking him down. Gautier’s power is so great that he is sometimes nicknamed the “mini Ngannou“.
